My name is Travis Teller and I have been making jewelry since 2013. After graduating from the University of New Mexico I returned home and started taking silversmithing courses from Diné College in Tsaile, AZ. After a couple years of learning from artists like: Martha K. Jackson (Chinle, AZ), Tony Goldtooth Sr. (Shiprock, NM), Dr. Wilson Aronilth Jr. (Arizona), Lauren Toby (Albuquerque, NM), and my parents Everett & Mary Teller, I developed my own style and technique resembles the original pieces made by the first Navajo silversmiths. I enjoy making Navajo jewelry and seeing the look a person gets when they know that a particular was meant for them. Making jewelry is very much like life, there will be mistakes and tough times, but at the end of it all you have something beautiful and rewarding. I want to continue offering this God given blessing to everyone who desires a piece made by me.
